A Little Bit About Us

smüfi selfcare has been a dream since 2017; I was a recent college grad working for a fortune 500 company. before and after a long day, selfcare always brought me back to my inner peace. my selfcare routines centralized around exercise, socializing, and body care. after I'd exercise, I'd use a pressure point massager on the areas that I worked out, and although it did help reduce soreness & tightness in these areas, I seemed to always be left bruised. my fiancé was concerned, and we determined there had to be a better solution.

this led us into developing the smüfi sculpti tool! the design was based off of two main design pillars: that it would be convenient and effective. during our design process we ensured that the product would be easily held in your hand and could travel with you anywhere in the world. by trial and error, we developed a solution to reduce any bruising but still maximize selfcare capabilities. by increasing the overall contact area of each pin, we were able to apply more pressure on a specific area while reducing the overall force on immediate skin tissue. after seeing results on myself, we decided to scale for production and offer this product to the public.

after development of the smüfi sculpti tool, we wanted a similar method safe to use facially. we kept our current pin design but reduced the overall spacing between them, and in turn, reduced the total number of pins. after initial production, we knew this product would be a perfect design for setting serums, reducing puffiness, and minimizing wrinkles, so we ditched the traditional roller methods and developed the smüfi facial sculpti tool.
